The Boston Police Of Today
The Boston Police are extremely active within their community today, making sure to post on twitter using their #bpdinthecommunity to keep the city updated on their interactions. They've make appearances at various events such as a basketball tournament and leadership programs. They are very active in community service as well. This of course is only part of their system of community policing. Despite this there are still racial attitudes that exist with individual members. The Boston Police have made it clear that they will not tolerate or adhere to this kind of behavior, hoping that they can continue to maintain a healthy relationship with the community. They've also made it clear that their top priority is the safety of the city and surrounding neighborhoods, and are willing to acknowledge that there are still plenty of mistakes to correct, and improvements to be made.
